Kulen Mountain Day Trek

Explore Phnom Kulen National Park one step at a time where you’ll reach the River of a 1000 Lingas, and journey to the top of the mountain to find the world-famous Reclining Buddha and waterfall. 

In ancient Khmer, Phnom Kulen was called Mahendraparvata, “Mountain of Indra, the King of the Gods”. It was a thriving city around the size of modern  Phnom Penh and the birthplace of the Khmer empire, where King Jayavarman II proclaimed Cambodia’s independence from Java in AD 802. Know before you go

• There is not dress code require but you need wear comfortable, casual and respectful at the ancient religious grounds
• This tour is not wheelchair accessible and is not recommended for pregnant, and back problems.
• This tour operates as a year round within all weather conditions
• Additionally it’s a very sacred site with multiple temples easily accessible. Two sites most noted are the Thousand Lingas at Kbal Spean, within the Kulen National Park site and Preah Ang Thom pagoda with its giant reclining Buddha.
• This day’s trek will not include the Thousand Lingas at Kbal Spean. Entrance ticket at Kbal Spean is included with the Angkor Pass ticket with the cost 37$. 
• Private tour fee need to charge extra 25% with a minimum number from 2pax
